As soon as a classical TC-system has to be expanded with new extensions, one nowadays can choose between two options: either invest in the old TC-system again or enhance it with VoIP.

By placing the VoIP-gateways between trunk line and existing TC-system, innovaphone's solution offers the possibility of enhancing the old TC-system without having to modify it. The new calling numbers are recognized by the gateway and delivered over IP.

Normally you don't even have to rewire the new workstations – because the network is already there. Apart from the telephones you can also take over your fax machines and analog telephones with help of the IP-adapter IP 21. You can also couple a door opener and supply waiting/on hold music over an external CD-ROM-drive. By installing the innovaphone PBX on the VoIP-gateway other functions will be available. You are able to set up waiting loops, establish a dial switching place and integrate software solutions for voice mail, fax, CTI and UMS over different interfaces into your system.
Sooner or later you'll find out, that the classical TC-system is not needed anymore. You can then switch it off and the innovaphone PBX holds up your entire telecommunication needs.
