Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 offers a sophisticated communications concept which enables users to find persons and communicate with them in real-time through their preferred application.

Using Communicator 2007 you can connect co-workers in your enterprise through PCs and phones.

In order to use these functionalities, in particular remote, through conventional telephony, OCS has to be connected to the PSTN-net. OCS itself in its current product suite doesn't provide a direct connection, but uses external gateways.

With our proprietary MS OCS Connector Asterina can easily be connected to a Microsoft Office Communication Server in order to fully make use of its functionalities. Asterina functions as telephony border gateway for the Microsoft infrastructure and is directly connected to the mediation server.

This proprietary connector runs independently from OCS: this means that no additional software on OCS is necessary or even has to be installed.

This flexibility and scalability are further plus factors of our solution!
